JCWP Comes to an End

Three communities—Anniston, Ala., and LaGrange and Valdosta, Ga.—saw the building of houses and hope June 7-13, 2003, as volunteers from around the world came together to build alongside former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and Habitat homeowner families.

During the course of one week, 92 housing units were built. But in addition to building houses, volunteers built friendships, love and the hope for a better future for these families and these entire communities.
